COBA President Benny Boscio Jr. and members of the Executive Board joined family, friends, and fellow correction officers to pay their respects to Correction Officer Aamir Khalid.
Officer Khalid dedicated his career to serving the people of New York City and working alongside his brothers and sisters in uniform. His loss is deeply felt throughout the correction community and by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
On behalf of the entire COBA family, we extend our deepest condolences to Officer Khalid’s loved ones and all those mourning his loss. We ask that our members keep his family and fellow officers in their thoughts during this difficult time.
